Effective Jan. 1, 2021, Tampa-based Tropical Golf Properties acquired privately-owned Wentworth Golf Club.
Wentworth is known for its Platinum Paspallum greens which offer superior appearance, playability and maintenance benefits for our golf course. Combined with our naturally rolling terrain with abundant wildlife, and intricate layout set amongst homes in the upscale Wentworth community, Wentworth Golf Club offers a world-class golfing experience.
The Steve Smyers-designed par-71 golf course is one of several high-end courses that he designed in the area, including Old Memorial in Tampa, Grand Pines and Isleworth in Orlando, and Southern Dunes in Haines City. Wentworth also has a complete practice facility which includes a driving range, practice putting green, and short game area.
