As you all know this has been an epic summer for rain. All the rain has taken a toll on the course as you can imagine. We’ve all been forced to stay on cart paths for a lot of the summer and bunkers are far from being in great shape.
But things are looking up!
My crew has been hard at work cutting grass that has been under water and raking bunkers to get them back into great shape. I want to thank my crew for their hard work.
And with cool and dry weather just around the corner, I think the worst is over. I expect our course to be in tip-top shape again within a couple of weeks.
And of course, thanks for your patience during this difficult time. Without you, our great members and regular golfers, of course we wouldn’t be here. We all want Wentworth Golf Club to be the best course in the Tampa Bay area. And in a short time it will be again.
